Lily’s DIY Floral Easter Bunny Ears

This post is going to be light on the words and heavy on the pictures. I don’t need to write too much because these DIY bunny ears were SO easy to make- however, choosing which pictures to post was close to impossible. These are some of my favorite photos of our sweet girl. I learned the trick to getting her to smile and laugh for pictures, dad needs to be near by. This method of toddler picture taking worked like a charm :)

Here is what you will need for making these adorable spring bunny ears:

  • 1 set of pre-made ears from the Target dollar section
  • assortment of faux flowers
  • hot glue
  • ribbon scraps (optional)

Step one: Remove the buds from the greenery of your faux flowers. Play around and configure an arrangement you like on your headband. I used two leaves on the sides of the floral arrangement.

Step two: Hot glue into place onto the headband.

Step three: I used ribbon scraps to cover some of the longer stems that were showing from the back of the headband. You can see the scraps of coral ribbon I used on the back, in the picture below:

Thats it! So easy, so cute!

I really had a great time making these floral bunny ears. I know its getting super close to Easter ( I meant to post these weeks ago), but they can be made in 10 min, so you have plenty of time momma! :)

Her dad gets her all wound up.

I hope you enjoyed this quick, easy DIY. These would be cute for a bunny themed birthday party, too! If you make a pair, I would love to see- use #thegreencupboard!

Happy Easter weekend!
