DIY Watermelon Manicure

Are you ready for warm weather, sandals, and watermelon? I sure am!

I love the way this DIY watermelon manicure turned out. It was so easy and turned out SO stinkin’ cute.

Here is what you will need:

A red nail polish- I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Sonic Boom.

A green nail polish- I used Essie in On the Roadie.

A black nail polish- I used Sinful Colors in Black on Black.

Step 1 : Paint your nails red and allow them to completely dry.

Step 2: Paint the tip of your nail green. It is okay to get some green paint underneath your nail, I used a q- tip with nail polish remover to get rid of unwanted paint around my nail. I just did my two pointer fingers to look like watermelon, but you could do as many or as little accent nails as your heart desires.

Step 3: Use a tooth pick to make “seeds” or dots on the red portion of your nail. I made six seeds. That’s it! You have the cutest manicure around!

Then you can just make an iced latte, plop yourself down by a window and enjoy your beautiful manicure.

Special thanks to my sweet, adorable husband. I asked him to snap some photos of my manicure and he did such a great job! Am I right?
